Over the summer, the slopes turn green, inviting you to discover a raft of new activities.
Right by the hotel, amateurs of mountain biking can set off to conquer the trails of the 2 Alpes Bike Park, one of the largest specially-designed mountain biking sites. Among majestic surroundings, and along perfectly maintained paths, make you way down 2,300 m of mountain, from the highest point to the lowest. Beginners should head to the Le Diable (Devil) sector which is home to tracks for bikers of all levels. The most experienced riders can try their luck on the competition level Fury track, or the legendary Venosc.
Lovers of the great outdoors are in for a treat with countless footpaths and trekking routes criss-crossing their way through the Les 2 Alpes domain. With over 200 km of footpaths, you’ll have plenty of time to take in the beauty of the resort and its surroundings. You’ll find a good family walk along the path which leads through alpine pastures and woodlands to the Molière farm. Once you get there, take a moment to visit the farm and sample the cheeses it produces. If you want to climb a little higher, take the path along the ridges, which winds its way up to Pied Moutet peak, at an altitude of 2,100 m and enjoys stunning panoramic views of the Romanche valley.
And because variety is the spice of life, Les 2 Alpes offers a host of other activities: swimming pool, golf, hang-gliding, horse riding, climbing, rafting, hydrospeed, drop bags... Children will be delighted by the inflatable park, the P’tit Jumper, taking to the air with the P’tits Loupis trampoline, or on the luge slopes in summer.
With natural snow guaranteed on the glacier which peaks at an altitude of 3,600 m, the Les 2 Alpes ski domain is one of the few to stay open even in summer - summer skiing at Les 2 Alpes is from 7 am to 12.30 pm every day from mid-June to the end of August!
